Full Details

#### Why It Works

**A single-button blazer with a defined waist and stretch-blend fabric that holds its structure across a full workday.**

- The tailored waist seaming creates a clean, shaped silhouette without requiring a fitted blouse underneath.
- The polyester-viscose-elastane blend resists wrinkling and allows full-range movement through back-to-back meetings.
- The neutral heathered charcoal reads as a true separates piece — pairs equally with matching trousers or contrasting pants and skirts.

#### Use Cases

- Client presentation at the office
- Work lunch with a stakeholder or colleague
- Professional networking event after work hours
- Job interview in a business casual environment
- Team meeting that calls for a step above everyday casual

#### Compatibility

- **Pairs With:**

Matching Melange Trousers,

Slim Dress Pant,

Silk or Satin Blouse,

Pointed-Toe Pump

- **Outfit Contexts:**

Client presentation,

Work lunch meeting,

Professional networking event

#### Fit Logic

- **Silhouette:** Tailored fit with defined waist seaming, a single-button closure at the natural waist, and a hem that hits at the high hip. Clean through the shoulders with a structured chest.
- **Best For:** Works well on straight and hourglass frames; the waist seaming adds definition without cinching. Petite and average heights both benefit from the high-hip length.
- **Styling Tip:** Wear with a lightweight knit or fitted blouse underneath to keep the single-button front laying flat and the lapels open cleanly.

#### Care Notes

- **Fabric:** 63% Polyester, 33% Viscose, 4% Elastane
- **Washing:** Dry clean only
- **Drying:** Do not machine dry — follow dry cleaner guidance
- **Ironing:** Steam on low if needed; test on an interior seam first
- **Special Notes:** The elastane content requires gentle handling to preserve stretch recovery — avoid wringing or folding under heavy pressure during storage.

#### Country of Origin

- Imported.

Customer Q&A

#### Does this blazer run true to size or should I size up?

The Melange Single Button Jacket runs true to size. The elastane content provides some give through the torso, so most customers find their regular size fits well. If you prefer extra room in the shoulders, consider sizing up one.

#### What is the fabric like — does it wrinkle easily?

The fabric is a polyester-viscose-elastane blend, which is naturally resistant to wrinkling and holds its shape well through a full day of wear. It has a subtle heathered texture that adds visual interest without being formal. Dry clean only to maintain the structure.

#### Can this be worn as a suit jacket with matching pants, or is it better as a separate?

It works well both ways. The heathered charcoal melange pairs with matching trousers for a polished suiting look, and the neutral tone also coordinates with contrasting pants, pencil skirts, or dress trousers in navy, black, or ivory.

Very well constructed jacket -

Very well constructed jacket - even retired people need more than t shirts & shorts/jeans

Got this to up my style with various dresses & slacks outfits for parties & dinners

Works well and makes me remember how much I enjoyed structured jackets in my corporate life!

For me it was too

For me it was too big in the back and the lines of the front jacket were too wide, and overall, too long, since I'm short waisted. The fabric was nice though.

Beautiful Jacket

The jacket style and fabric is of high quality and beautiful. Although I have chosen the same size Anne Klein suit jackets/blazers that is now own, it is unfortunate that this jacket style was much larger than my all previous AK purchases as if mislabeled?? To this point, I promptly returned both the jacket and pants for a refund.
