Why It Works

A back-zip mock neck in stretch knit that holds a polished silhouette all day without effort.

The back zip closure keeps the mock neckline smooth and structured with no visible hardware at the front
The polyester-elastane blend stretches with movement but returns to shape, making it reliable for a full professional day
The clean solid black and fitted cut make it a strong base under any blazer or jacket in the Anne Klein collection

Use Cases

Under a structured blazer for a client-facing meeting
Standalone top for an in-office work day
Base layer for a smart-casual evening event
Paired with tailored trousers for a conference or presentation
Quick-change top for a post-work dinner without going home

Compatibility

Pairs With:

Tailored Blazer,

Dress Trousers,

Pencil Skirt,

Structured Tote

Outfit Contexts:

Client presentation,

Office lunch meeting,

Evening work event

Fit Logic

Silhouette: Close-fitting through the torso with short sleeves and a high mock neck; hits at or just below the hip with no excess fabric
Best For: Straight and hourglass silhouettes; works well on women who prefer a clean, body-skimming fit for layering or wearing alone
Styling Tip: Tuck into high-waisted trousers or a pencil skirt to anchor the fitted silhouette and keep the neckline as the focal point

Care Notes

Fabric: 94% Polyester, 6% Elastane
Washing: Machine wash or dry clean
Drying: Follow garment label; lay flat or tumble dry low to preserve stretch
Ironing: Low heat if needed; avoid direct contact with elastane fibers
Special Notes: Dry clean recommended to maintain the smooth knit surface and fitted shape over time

Country of Origin

Vietnam

Customer Q&A

Does this top run true to size or should I size up for comfort?

The polyester-elastane knit has consistent stretch, so it runs true to size for most. If between sizes or preferring a less fitted look, sizing up one is a good option.

What is the fabric like — is it thick enough to wear on its own or is it sheer?

The stretch knit is opaque and holds its structure well. It is substantial enough to wear as a standalone top without a layer underneath.

Can this be worn to the office without a jacket over it?

Yes. The mock neck and fitted cut give it a polished, intentional look that works well as a standalone top in professional settings. A blazer can be added for a more formal presentation.

I like this top a

I like this top a lot. However I didn’t realize until it arrived that it has a zipper up the back. Fortunately I can put it on and take it off easily without using the zipper.
